Award Categories:

1.HRINZ HR Person of the Year

This award acknowledges the good work being done by HR individuals, the category includes 3 sub categories:

  • HRINZ Young HR Practitioner of the Year
  • HRINZ Generalist HR Person of the Year
  • HRINZ Specialist HR Person of the Year

2.HRINZ HR Initiative of the Year

This award acknowledges the good work being done by HR teams who introduce innovation into HR practices.


HRINZ HR Person of the Year

Including:

  • HRINZ Young HR Practitioner of the Year
  • HRINZ Generalist HR Person of the Year
  • HRINZ Specialist HR Person of the Year

To be eligible to enter this Award, there must also be a New Zealand connection. For this category, the applicant needs to be working in New Zealand and demonstrating best practice in the New Zealand context.

Step One: Applicants must complete and forward the completed Entry Template for their category (maximum 9 pages in total).

Step Two: Applicants must also submit via the online entry process a Nomination Form. Click on the below to download a nomination form from the 2009/2010.  Updated forms for 2011 will be available on 1 August 2011:

Additional Infomration that will also be required (via the online entry process) includes:

  • Current Full Curriculum Vitae
  • Current Position Description (or similar document)
  • Completed Nomination Form
  • Names of two referees

HRINZ HR Initiative of the Year

To be eligible to enter this Award there has to be a New Zealand connection. It must be a New Zealand company that has significant operations in New Zealand.

Step One: Applicants must complete and forward via the online process (which will be available 1 August 2011) the attached business case template [Word Doc] (maximum 12 pages). Please note this current Business Case Template is a sample only.

Step Two: Your entry application should be submitted electronically through this website from 1 August 2011 and no later than 5pm, 1 September 2011. No hard copies will be accepted.
