How to Enter

Entries open 1 August 2009 and will be received until 5pm on 1 October 2009.

HRINZ HR Person of the Year

  • HRINZ Young HR Practitioner of the Year

To be eligible to enter this Award, there must also be a New Zealand connection.  For this category, the applicant needs to be working in New Zealand and demonstrating best practice in the New Zealand context.

Step One: Applicants must complete and forward the below relevant Entry Template.  Maximum 9 pages in total.

Step Two: Applicants must also submit:

  • Current Full Curriculum Vitae
  • Current Position Description (or similar document)
  • Completed Nomination Form (refer below for printable form)
  • Names of two referees

Step Three: We require 4 copies of your entry application to be forwarded to us no later than 5pm, 1 October 2009.  It should be A4, single sided and posted to HRINZ HR Awards, PO Box 11450, Wellington.

Step Four: We also require an electronic copy of your entry provided either via email (keri.bloomfield@hrinz.org.nz) or on disc.  This needs to be exactly the same as what you are submitting via hardcopy including any appendices and or attachments.

HRINZ HR Initiative of the Year

To be eligible to enter this Award there has to be a New Zealand connection.  It must be a New Zealand company that has significant operations in New Zealand.

Step One: Applicants must complete and forward the attached business case template [Word Doc]. Maximum 12 pages in total.

Step Two: We require your entry application to be forwarded to us by no later than 5pm 1 October 2009. 

Step Three: We require 4 hard copies of your entry application.  It should be A4, single sided and posted to HRINZ HR Awards, PO Box 11450, Wellington
