Leeanne Carson-Hughes MHRINZ

Leeanne Carson-Hughes is the General Manager Human Resources at the Christchurch International Airport Ltd and a Director of Zing Consulting. Prior to this Leeanne was the General Manager Human Resources for the New Zealand Institute of Crop & Food Research. 

Being part of Executive Management Teams is of particular interest to Leeanne as she helps guide companies through growth and diversification strategies.  When Leeanne was appointed to Crop & Food Research in 2003, she also had the challenging role of helping to rebuild the Institute after the tragic plane crash that killed seven senior staff.

Leeanne has also held a number of senior management roles in organisations such as Wrightson as their National Training & Change Manager and business roles in the Trust Bank Group.

Leeanne is committed to keeping her own knowledge and skills up to date and has attended HR and business conferences and programmes in the UK, Italy, Tokyo, Melbourne and throughout New Zealand.

Leeanne was the President of the HRINZ Canterbury branch, a National Board member and Executive Committee member in 2008 and 2009 and currently sits on the Canterbury Committee as Past President.
