
Special Recognition Award - State Services Public Sector Award
The National Judging Panel has discretion to award a special recognition award, the State Services Commission Public Sector Award, to either an individual or a team who works for a Public Sector organisation, who has entered into any of the general award categories. This award will recognise excellence and commitment to improving HR within a public sector organisation. This award will be announced at the Gala Presentation in February 2010.
Criteria for 2010
An organisational development project or programme that:
· demonstrates a strong contribution to a high performing, trusted and accessible State sector, delivering the right services in the right way at the right prices
· has lead or is leading to sustained improvements in performance and productivity, while building organisational capability
· is an exemplar of innovation in organisational development for the public sector
Public Sector Organisation definition:
The entry must be received from an organization or individual that works within a Public Sector Organisation, where the Pubic Sector Organisation is defined as a broad term that refers collectively to the agencies of central and local government.
